December has been a month of waiting around for me.

First - I had to wait around until my results were released. I had completed my final exams for law school, and I would be graduating as long as my results were good enough. Unfortunately the horrors of one exam had my running from the room vomiting so I was terrified that I wouldn’t pass. Thankfully, my results were actually quite fabulous and I was all set to graduate.

Next - I had to wait around until the graduation ceremony on the 16th of December. I don’t think it really set in that after 5 years of studying at University and 15 years at school (I started school early…) I would finally be finished! Wearing the beautiful robes and the mortar board hat and the gorgeous hood with the pretty colours was just wonderful. My graduation was the most wonderful moment and certainly something that I am most proud of! I keep meaning to upload the pictures, but I’ve obviously been pretty busy.

Next - Christmas! I refuse to be one of those people who are too cool to be excited about Christmas, so I spend the weeks beforehand shopping and baking and decorating. I love it although it probably drives everyone around me a little crazy. The house constantly smells like a bakery and there are sugary sweets everywhere (not good for those who try to lose weight!)

Finally - THAILAND! After being given the entire holiday as the most outrageously wonderful birthday present ever from my darling boyfriend all the way back in June, I am finally going to get to go. When do I leave? TOMORROW! So this is my farewell of sorts I guess. I will be updating a general blog with James while we are away although you will all receive a personalised update as well. Let me know in the comments if you want to be email subscribed to the updates although I doubt any of you will find my romantic two week get away to Thailand all that interesting! I will leave for the airport around 7am tomorrow morning, but won’t get to the hotel in Bangkok until 4am Australian time (midnight local time) so it will be pretty exhausting getting there - although obviously worth it!

Anyway I will be desperate to get in touch with everyone as soon as I get back - so please don’t forget about me!!
